Butternut Squash

Okay so my brother picks up 2 butternut squashes and asks me to make it. Now honestly, I didnt even know what the god damn thing was but after 5 minutes of staring at the damn thing I figured it out.

So here it is, - chop it up like wedges, make big pieces because it's hard to slice up fine, put it in an oven proof dish, sprinkle some salt, pepper and paprika/chilli powder DO NOT ADD ANY OIL and stick it in the oven, heat to about 350 degrees Fahrenheit and let it cook for about 30 minutes, after 15 turn the pieces over so it cooks on both side and Voila.

Its a very healthy source of carbs and tastes great. Enjoy :)

Butter Chicken

Alrite, here I am going to debunk all the long, complicated and difficult recipes for Butter Chicken, one of the world's most favourite dishes; because you show me one person who doesnt like butter chicken, and I will show you an idiot. I am going to assure of 2 things; firstly, you wont believe me but I swear to God it really tastes heavenly, secondly, it should take you no more than 20 mins (thats cuz the chicken has to cook)

Your going to need
  • 4-6 chicken breasts total weight 1.60 to 2 LBS if you have less, proportionate the recipe accordingly.
  • Barbeque sauce - 8-10 Table spoons full (I used Diana Sauce- Gourmet Original)
  • Half a cup of tomato puree
  • Sour Cream - 2-3 Table spoons Full
  • Tandoori Masala - I used Shan - 1 Tablespoon
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Butter- 2 table spoons
Method to my madness
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan
  • Add the chicken (dice em up it's easier to eat)
  • Add the BBQ Sauce, Sour cream, Puree, Tandoori Masala, Garam Masala
  • Cover and let it cook,
  • Once almost done add the second tablespoon of butter,
  • If you need more gravy either add more proportions of sour cream and bbq sauce or simply add some milk (But dont cook the milk for too long the chicken should be pretty much done)
  • Thats it
I just made it and it tastes like heaven, the best butter chicken Ive ever had, Sorry Mum...I got this one
